Vacation In Marina Del Rey, CA

We just got back yesterday from our family reunion in Marina Del Rey, CA. We survived the 14 hour car ride there and back (Adam was amazing, he is such a little traveler), and had a wonderful week. We did Disneyland, California Adventure, the beach, surfing, yummy food, and shopping. While at Disneyland we took Adam on his first ride, Peter Pan. He loved it! We also took him on Mr. Toad's Wild ride, Pirates (he wasn't scared one bit!), and A Bug's Life 3-D show. It was fun to spend time with family and be near the beach. The thing Aaron and I enjoyed the most was probably going on rides with Adam, and surfing. Both of us have always wanted to learn and it was fun to learn together. On our last day Ami took Aaron, Adam, and I to a Philippino Restaurant with her co-worker. I was nervous about the food, but it was actually pretty good. Aaron was in his element. He loved the food and was speaking Tagolog like there was no tomorrow. It's always fun to see the Philippino's reaction to Aaron speaking their language fluently. Aaron really appreciated Ami organizing it. All in all it was a great week and fun vacation.
