For Valentine's Day Aaron and I decided to take a little trip to James Madison's House. It was only 45 min. away and a beautiful drive. When we pulled up to the entrance, there was a booth and a sign displaying the admission fee. Unfortunately, the admission was $16 per adult. Fortunately, there was no one in the booth and the gate was wide open. So it was a great little blessing for our little family. The house was closed, but the grounds were beautiful and we were able to walk around the museum. On the way home, we stopped at McDonalds for dinner. As we were getting ready to leave McDonalds, a lady came over to our table. She must have noticed we had only ordered off the dollar menu, or maybe she was just being nice. She gave us a McDonalds coupon booklet (like free burger, free fries etc...) and told us she felt impressed to give it to us. So we had a wonderful day with a couple little blessings thrown in.
