So this past weekend we had a little family adventure to Horntown, VA. We had seen an ad on craigslist for a house, and it sounded like a great deal. Sometimes craigslist is hit or miss, but we thought we'd check it out. We figured we'd at least get a nice little family trip out of it if the house was a flop. Well we had a nice little family trip, and the house was a flop. Oh well. Horntown, VA is about a 4 1/2 hr. drive from us, so we decided to stay in a little hotel and make a weekend trip out of it. The little town we stayed in, Chincoteague, VA, was a really cute little beach town. So i had some high hopes for Horntown. Well, the next morning when we drove into Horntown, it felt like the twilight zone. There were rundown, abandoned houses, the post office was a trailer, and everyone had to pick up their mail at the post office since no one had mailboxes. The house we were going to see was supposed to be in a "gated community", brand new, and on two acres of land. Well, there was a gate to get into the "community", but the community consisted of trailers. We later found out the house was over 10 years old and was def. not on 2 acres let alone a 1/4 of an acre. Needless to say, we will not be moving to Horntown, VA. Kudos to those who live there, cause I couldn't do it. Anyway, we still had a really fun weekend.

Sorry the house didn't work out, but it looks like you had a fun weekend. Adam is growing and changing. Maybe it's the haircut?
